Have you seen these?
Crafts are a part of the mindfulness culture in the treatment facility I’m currently healing at, and these Knifty Knitters are a hot crafting commodity. I haven’t caught the knitting bug quiet yet, but I’m itching a little. In the meantime, a sweet friend I’ve made here has knitted me FOUR cozy winter hats! I’ll admit, I’m a total hat fiend, but I suppose I don’t need four of them…so a giveaway (with the blessing of my friend) is in order.
3 knifty knitted hats to 3 lucky readers!

I knit the old fashioned way – with two needles, and often with four. But Maggie just found a similar knitting machine at Savers and begged me for it. So, I’m pretty sure she’ll be churning out hats and scarves and leg warmers soon. ; ) I hope you’ve had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Ours was *very* relaxed. (Knitting is also very relaxing, once you get the hang of it. I whole-heartedly recommend it as a hobby.)

i was just reading about the Methuselah tree in California– the oldest tree in the world. If you like trees, or want to be more like one [
], then this is THE tree. In it’s rings, you can trace history, major astronomical events (like meteor showers). They look like beautiful old women.
So cute Clare! I love anything knitted, but like you haven’t quite caught the knitting bug yet. I figure all of my friends keep knitting me scarves, and so no need to learn…although no one has made me a hat yet.
Hope you’re doing okay!
and… for the third…
I just wrote a post, it’s not 5 things, but it’s 10! 10 Yoga Teacher Confessions, things I’ve decided to not feel guilty about. Bam-O!
I hope you’re doing well, sweet potato. Take care of yourself.
